2 Corinthians 5:20 - We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.
What does it really mean to be an ambassador for Christ?
An Ambassador is...
A representative sent with authority from one kingdom to another.
Not their own voice, but speaks on behalf of the King.
Carries the culture, values, and message of the one who sent them.
Operates under the protection and provision of the government they represent.
Must be recognized by both sides—by the sending Kingdom and the foreign land.
Kingdom Ambassadors:
You are not a citizen of this world. Philippians 3:20 says our citizenship is in heaven — so we’re here on assignment.
You carry the message of reconciliation. God is making His appeal through you — you speak His peace, His truth, His love.
You don’t set the message. You deliver it. You’re a messenger, not the author. Your life is the letter (2 Corinthians 3:2).
You're equipped, protected, and backed by Heaven. Ambassadors don’t pay their own way—the Kingdom funds the mission.
Being an ambassador is a responsibility, not just a title. You represent Jesus in how you talk, post, live, love, forgive, and lead.
